BRANDING CASE STUDY: MS&G

Client: Manhattan Shade & Glass, an established firm that specializes in the fabrication and installation of sophisticated tiling, window treatments, glass and mirror products, and upholstery.
Problem: The company had collected a variety of different logos and font treatments through the years, that were still in use. This caused brand-confusion, and came off disorganized, so it needed to update their brand with a fresh and modern look.
Solution: I have come up with a new, modern treatment to their logo, and applied the look and feel consistently throughout a series of marketing initiatives in an unified manner; it included stationery, brochures, sell sheets, tiles sampler pack, and various signage.

BRANDING CASE STUDY: LIVINGTONICS

Client: Sigma-Tau Health Science, the main importer of Carnitine into the United States. Carnitine is the generic term for a number of compounds that include L-carnitine, acetyl-L-carnitine, and propionyl-L-carnitine, and plays a critical role in energy production. It transports long-chain fatty acids into the mitochondria so they can be oxidized (“burned”) to produce energy.
Problem: Sigma-Tau intended on utilizing Carnitine into a series of tea-based energy drinks. The problem was how to market a rather unappealing-sounding chemical compound into products for the general public.
Solution: I helped by coming up with the main brand (Livingtonics) and related products names, and a look that would convey and promote body energy, cognition, and general well-being. I designed the brand collateral, and all the marketing and advertising material, developing the Livingtonics brand line from the ground up; it included labels and packaging, sell sheets, in-store P.O.P. Displays and boxes, web design and advertising.
